Your wedding day
just as you experienced it
The Wedding Film is my interpretation. The Family Film is your memory.
For a long time, I referred to this format as the Documentary Edit.
Technically, that description was accurate. The film follows the natural chronology of the day, preserves real moments and original sounds, and allows events to unfold exactly as they happened.
But over time, I realised that couples were not choosing this film because it was documentary.
They were choosing it because it allowed them to preserve the memory of their wedding day in the most complete and faithful way possible.
That is why I now call it the Family Film.
A more documentary approach
Unlike the Wedding Film, which is crafted as a cinematic story where I select, shape and interpret the most meaningful moments of your day, the Family Film embraces a more documentary approach.
Its purpose is not to tell your wedding story.
Its purpose is to help you relive it as closely as possible to the way you actually experienced it.
Conversations are preserved. Atmospheres remain intact. The real sounds of your wedding day play an essential role — the musicians you chose, the applause, the laughter, the voices of your loved ones and the energy of the dance floor.
Everything that makes your wedding uniquely yours.
Preserving what matters
Ceremonies, speeches and certain meaningful moments may be included in full whenever it makes sense.
Some sequences are allowed to breathe. Some conversations remain in their natural rhythm. Certain moments are preserved exactly as they happened.
Because very often, those are the moments that become the most valuable memories.
The difference lies in the intention
Every image is carefully edited, colour-graded and refined with the same attention as your Wedding Film.
The difference does not lie in the quality of the craftsmanship.
It lies in the intention.
The Wedding Film seeks to tell your story.
The Family Film seeks to preserve it.
With time
Over the years, many couples tell me that this becomes the film they revisit the most.
To hear the voices.
To relive the atmosphere.
To remember the people who were there.
Because with time, some memories become even more valuable.
Where the Wedding Film captures the emotion, the Family Film preserves the memory.
